Play Area Rathlin St. Govan

The Association wished a consultation exercise to be carried out carried out with the community, in particular the young members that live within the G51 postal area, to establish the need for a multi purpose play area and to set out a strategy for participation over the design period of the project.

Several blown-up photographs of the area were displayed at the meetings and the pupils/youth groups were given a current site plan to give us their own ideas of how they saw the area being improved to ensure its future use by the community.

Examples of their requirements were collected and used as the basis for formulating a brief to design their play area.
